Coconut Oil is Great for Anything!!!

Coconut oil is one of natures most generous gifts to humans. It has so many different benefits for so many different parts of the body. These benefits can be attributed to the presence of lauric acid, capric acid and caprylic acid, and its properties such as antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-fungal, antibacterial, etc.

You can take coconut oil both internally and externally to relieve and cure a large variety of ailments. You can also use this to cook with without losing any nutritional or medicinal value due to its high heat tolerance.

  • When taking coconut oil, the best and most effective kind to get is organic extra virgin coconut oil. It will be in the supplements section at any superstore or health food store.

Lots of research has been done on the subject of Fatty Acids and Monogycerides.

Some of the reported cures from research are:

  • Alzheimer’s: Read about it!
  • Studies have found that coconut oil can kill viruses that cause influenza! The 8% caprylic acid in coconut oil is said to be effective against fungus, and on skin conditions like planter’s warts and athlete’s foot: For viruses- take 2 tbsp. orally 3 times a day for 14 days. For skin fungus: Massage liberal amount onto washed and dried affected area(s) twice a day.
  • Also kills bacteria that cause ulcers, throat infections, urinary tract infections, gum disease and cavities, pneumonia, and gonorrhea, and other diseases. Kills fungi and yeasts that cause candidiasis, ringworm, thrush, diaper rash, and other infections: Take 1 tbsp. 3 times a day (preferably with food).
  • It is said to increase body temperature (and poor circulation due to low blood pressure) when taken orally. This is due to increased metabolic rate as medium-chain fatty acids of the coconut oil are burned.
  • It is known to dissolve kidney stones: Take 2 tbsp. 3 times a day with plenty of fluids.
  • Provides a nutritional source of quick energy, boosts energy and endurance, and improves digestion and absorption of other nutrients including vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. It also promotes loss of excess weight by increasing metabolic rate. Is utilized by the body to produce energy in preference to being stored as body fat like other dietary fats: Take 1 tbsp. 3 times a day (preferably with food).
  • Is heart healthy. It has also been shown to improve cholesterol levels when taken orally!
  • Softens skin and relieves dryness and flaking/reduces symptoms of psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis: Mix 10 drops coconut oil with 1 cup pure aloe vera for a light gel moisturizer; for a heavier skin conditioner, use full strength and massage in well.
  • Promotes healthy hair/helps control dandruff: Dampen hair and comb a small amount of oil through your hair. Use shower cap or towel and wrap your hair. Let sit for 30 min. to 1 hr. for best results. Wash thoroughly after.

    I agree with you. Here in Asia – commercialization has become rampant. Its one of natures gifts. It does have a lot of benefit at a very small costs. Here, you get a bottle of that for 10$, and I am promoting the Virgin Coconut Oil too. You have a very insightful blog. Thanks!

    Wow, great article! I truly didn’t know how awesome coconut oil is, apart from its good fats. I love the metabolic rate factor; I have a thyroid condition and this may help, especially with circulation! Thanks 🙂
